What I've Been Up To

Enjoying the outdoors

I'm in a watercolor group and we had a Plein Air painting day at our teacher's house in Powell Butte, OR. I normally gravitate towards landscapes, but I pushed myself to paint Irises instead. I also did some quick sketches in my nature journal.

I've also been out riding my bike a lot. I lead a group and am always looking to scout new places for us to go. Central Oregon gets really smoky in the summers from wildfire season, so I'm trying to soak up as much as I can before I'm forced indoors!
